Christ Apostolic Church is a distinctly indigenous African Church with headquarters in Nigeria, but with members spread across the world.  CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH We are the pioneer Pentecostal Church in Africa, with a membership base of presently over five million, made up of men and women, families from diverse sectors of the social strata. Our history is traceable directly to the definite outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Nigeria, Africa, in the great revival which began in 1930 through the ministry of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola. The Church is renowned as a praying church, and we believe that healings, miracles, and other signs and wonders as recorded in the book of the Acts of the Apostles are meant to manifest today.

Brief history

CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH Gate Of Praise.

As it is written in the book of Matthew 16:18, ‘And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it’. God commissioned this ministry from the day He has giving us instruction to go out and evangelize to the world and bring souls to the kingdom of God.This ministry as being established in heaven before God established it here on Earth through His faithful servant Pastor Amos Folorunso Oloruniyi in the year 2001, then on a temporary site at Aga Ikorodu, Lagos State Nigeria named Christ Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Gate of Praise. By the grace of God the church was blessed and in 2008 the church moved to her permanent site at Selewu Igbogbo Ikorodu, Lagos State Nigeria and God has been helping His church to grow in Grace and in His power.The church has being of help to many souls which have given their lives to Christ through this ministry. God has used Ministers of God to contribute to the growth of this church and for a certain period of time God used His servant Pastor Oladipo Olabisi as the minister of the church when the servant pastor in charge, Pastor Amos Olorunniyi went out to take the ministry to another place as it is written that we should go out to the whole world and evangelize the gospel. To the glory of God, in the year 2020 the church changed Her name to Christ Apostolic Church Gate of Praise according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and a new Pastor was transferred to the Ministry named Pastor David Babatope and God has been using Him with the Help of God and that of the servant, Pastor Amos Folorunso Olorunniyi to move the church forward.Early 2022 the ministry was formerly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria as Christ Apostolic Church. Gate of Praise Pentecostal Assembly with Her vision and mission statement. And these are part of the signs that the ministry is moving forward as promised by Christ Jesus.To the glory of God on the 7th of August 2022 another branch of this ministry was established at United Kingdom through the servant pastor that God gave the vision and God has been so faithful to the church. Christ Apostolic Church Gate of Praise, is a church established to pull down the kingdom of Darkness and through the help of God and his servant Pastor Amos Folorunso Olorunniyi in United kingdom and the ministers in charge of the church in Nigeria, and other men of God. The kingdom of Darkness is shaking and all captives are receiving their Deliverance and set loose through our Lord Jesus Christ.
